I'm Lauren.
I’m an interdisciplinary designer living in Grand Rapids, MI. My experience is in design thinking, marketing, advertising art direction, traditional and digital graphic design, web design with an emphasis on UX/UI, design strategy, animation, and video. I also have a passion for sustainability, which I incorporate into my work regularly.
I graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in collaborative design and a minor in graphic design. Collaborative design is a team-based program that teaches students the design process and allows them to hone their skills in a specific area of interest.
I regularly work in the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Miro, and have experience designing in WordPress. I love the challenge of learning a new skill or program and continually push myself to do so. I’ve recently been experimenting with data analytics, information design, and data visualization. Outside of day-to-day design work, I have experience leading design thinking workshops and organizing company-wide community engagement initiatives.
